Academic Integrity Contest

Every year the Academic Integrity Matters (AIM!) Student Organization and the AI Office (with support from divisions and departments across campus) run an Academic Integrity Matters contest.

In 2013, we asked students “What's Your Reason?” for academic integrity. And, on Wednesday April 17th at our Annual Academic Integrity Awards Ceremony, we announced the winners and presented them with their prizes.

  • First Prize Winner: Adam Ramirez for his poem "My Heros Didn't Cheat". Adam won a reserved parking spot from April 22 to June 17, 2013, and $150 in UCSD Bookstore gift cards
  • First Runner-Up Winner: Miranda Tsz Ko for her art entitled "Academic Integrity University". Miranda won a reserved parking spot from April 22 to June 17, 2013, and $40 in UCSD Bookstore gift cards

Thanks to all of those students who submitted entries and do not fear — you'll have another opportunity to win in 2014!
