How Intergroup Dialogues work
- Intergroup dialogue brings together students from 2 or more social identity groups into a small, cooperative environment where you'll explore:
- Social group identity
- Conflict
- Community
- Social justice
- Trained facilitators representing each identity group encourage dialogue rather than debate. Read about the differences:
- Intergroup Dialogues are organized around:
- Multidisciplinary readings (both theoretical and personal narratives)
- Experiential learning activities
- A small group project
- Weekly writing and summative reflections
- You'll analyze and learn about issues facing groups on campus and in broader society.
