Einstein Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) – Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University 
The Einstein Summer Undergraduate Research Program is a 9-week program designed for undergraduates with a strong background in science who are considering a research career. Students are matched to a laboratory in the area of interest they indicate on their application.

Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) in Raptor Research – Boise State University
The goal of the REU-Raptor Research site is to engage undergraduates in biological research using birds of prey (hawks, owls, falcons, and eagles) as model systems. Students will spend 10-weeks conducting field and/or laboratory research under the guidance of experienced mentors from academia, government, and NGOs.

The Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) Program – University of Chicago
During the summer, REU students attend seminars several mornings a week given by faculty and graduate students from across the Materials Center and Physics. Possible project areas include: experimental and theoretical condensed matter physics and materials chemistry, nanoscience, biophysics, nonlinear dynamics and chaos, complex fluids and polymers, optical spectroscopy of materials, and ultracold atoms.

Training and Experimentation in Computation Biology (TECBio REU) – University of Pittsburg

The TECBio: "Simulation and Visualization of Biological Systems at Multiple Scales" REU program is a 10-week summer program that will provide a challenging and fulfilling graduate-level research experience to undergraduate students in the life, physical, and computer sciences and engineering fields.  A wide variety of theoretical and experimental research projects are available to our participating students. Students will also receive classroom training in topics pertinent to the emerging field of computational biology, such as computational structural biology, cell and systems modeling, computational genomics, and bioimage informatics.

Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) – University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee
The School of Freshwater Sciences of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the National Science Foundation Division of Ocean Sciences offer career development and experience in Marine and Freshwater Sciences through a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Site program. Students continuing college enrollment in Fall 2014, particularly with majors pertinent to aquatic sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology, physics, geology, mathematics, engineering) and interest in water are encouraged to apply. Program provides positions in classical geology, geochemistry, physical chemistry, aquatic zoology, microbiology, molecular biology, fish biology/ecology/aquaculture, and biochemistry/physiology of aquatic organisms.
