Credit Cards

The ability to use credit cards to pay fees is now through the student portal and authorized payer payment portals.

UC San Diego has partnered with a third-party vendor, Nelnet Business Solutions, to facilitate payments made online via credit or debit card for tuition and student account charges. Nelnet assesses a 2.75% non-refundable service fee for processing credit card transactions and accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. This service fee is not paid to UC San Diego and is not refundable, regardless if the associated payment is refunded or cancelled. Refer to our credit card FAQs for additional information (link).

For more information, visit our Credit Card FAQ page.

Note: The Service Fee is non-refundable.
