a) All new entering graduate and professional graduate students* will be billed a one-time Document Fee of $100.
b) The Cost of Attendance (COA) includes the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) of $3,573. The 17-18 rate will be made available at a later time. Students may also opt for the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (RAFT) of $180. For additional UC SHIP information, visit https://wellness.ucsd.edu/studenthealth/insurance/uc-ship/Pages/default.aspx.
c) Actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California and could be affected by increases or reductions in State funding, or other developments.
d) Non-California resident students applying for financial aid: Non-California residents pay Non-Resident Supplemental Tuition (currently estimated to be $15,102 annually) in addition to charges paid by in-state students. Loans must be repaid.
e) Included in the CA Resident Tuition and Fees total of $17,019.

Note: Professional graduate students in the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) formerly IR/PS, the RADY School of Management, the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) and other self-supporting programs will have different fees and budget costs.
