Individual Tutoring Services

LATS offers one-on-one tutoring sessions in a wide range of disciplines, with an emphasis on the six college writing programs, ELWR courses, and foreign languages. Individual tutoring is provided by knowledgeable, well-trained tutors who specialize in their respective college writing program and disciplines. Tutors are available to assist you during your entire writing process from interpreting a prompt to polishing a final draft.

Individual tutoring appointments are available:
  • Monday through Thursday: 9:00AM-4:30PM
  • Fridays: 9:00AM-2:30PM

Location: Center Hall, 3rd Floor, enter through doors "E" or "F".

Note: If you would like a 60-minute appointment for the same day, you must schedule the appointment by 7:59am; otherwise, you will only be able to see a tutor for 30 minutes during drop-in hours (see below). Remember to bring your writing prompt and/or a hard copy of your writing assignment to each session.
