Introduction

The University of California Policies Applying to Campus Activities, Organizations and Students (PACAOS) are a compendium of University-wide policies relating to student life. The PACAOS address the rights and responsibilities of members of the University community as well as others while on University Property. The PACAOS also address the responsibilities of students as a means of sustaining this community. The UC Office of the President publishes the PACAOS and makes them available for review on their website.

Each UC Campus may adopt campus implementing regulations consistent with the PACAOS. At UC San Diego, the PACAOS have been implemented through implementing regulations known as the Student Conduct Standards.
