What I wish I had known when I was in college: I wish I had known how many resources there were on campus when I was in college that extend beyond academics. I was hesitant to reach out for help, and it caused me to take longer to graduate than I should have.

What does being first-generation mean to me? To me, being a first-generation college student means that you are paving the way for not only yourself, but others in the community. This ability to be a pioneer is an amazing strength.

Top goals for the year: My professional goal this year is to bring the Strengths mindset to UC San Diego by helping facilitate workshops and develop SMART Goals with students and staff across campus.
