UC San Diego students without immigration status: Make an informed decision about whether, where and when to travel outside the U.S.

Studying abroad can be an exciting educational and life experience. It is important for all students to make sure that they have all of the information they need to make an informed decision about whether, where and when to travel.

Students without immigration status often need additional information before they make a decision. The UCSD Undocumented Student Services Center, UCSD Study Abroad Office, and UCSD Student Legal Services are here to help!

Also, UC San Diego students and their families have access to free immigration legal services provided by the UC Undocumented Legal Services Center.  The program is staffed by attorneys and fellows who are available to give legal advice.  Assistance with advance parole for study abroad is just one example of ways they are available to assist UC San Diego students.
