Services for Students

The programs and services we provide are designed to help students overcome their legal and financial obstacles, as well as achieve personal and academic excellence.

UC San Diego students who are undocumented or from mixed status families can meet with the coordinator to discuss any topics related to their status.

UC Undocumented Legal Services

The legal services program offers in-depth immigration consultation, legal advice, and representation for UC undocumented students and their families.

  • Three times a quarter, we coordinate to have attorneys come to campus for one-on-one meetings with students.
  • Once per quarter we hold legal clinics that serve as a one-day, one-stop shop for DACA initial or renewal filings, and general intakes.
  • Once per quarter we also hold presentations that cover immigration topics of relevance to students and their families.

Counseling and Psychological Services

CAPS provides free, confidential, psychological counseling and crisis services for registered UC San Diego students. We collaborate with CAPS in order to provide a safe and confidential space.

Professional and Academic Activities

We provide a variety of workshops to promote students' professional and academic development throughout the year.

Community Building Activities

Our center hosts a range of fun activities to engage the campus community and promote students' well-being, such as our quarterly Week 10 Zen activity. Our events are open to the entire UC San Diego community.

UndocuAlly Trainings

Training is available to UC San Diego faculty and staff who are interested in being allies for undocumented students. The opportunity allows educators to gain a better understanding of how to serve undocumented students on campus.
