Find methods of transportation to and from the UC San Diego campus, to catch flights or trains out of town.
Airport transportation options
- Use your U-Pass to ride free – take the UC San Diego Blue Line trolley to Old Town Transit Center, then transfer to the San Diego Flyer shuttle or MTS Bus Line 992 to the airport
- Ride share (use one of these designated passenger loading zones)
- Taxi (allow about $40 between the airport and the La Jolla campus)
Other traveling options
Amtrak:
- Find schedules on Amtrak's website
- The closest station to the La Jolla campus is Solana Beach
- Hop on the 101 Breeze bus between the station and campus, or use another bus line or taxi to/from the Amtrak station

- The closest station to the La Jolla campus is in Old Town San Diego (there's also a station in Oceanside)
- Use a nearby bus line or taxi to/from the Greyhound station
