Setting up your computer in a dorm
If you live in a dorm, find a Residential Computer Consultant (RCC) in your residence hall to get help.

Contact the ACMS Help Desk, (858) 534-3227, or visit in person at AP&M 1313 (map), 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. weekdays to get help on:
- Your account
- Computer support for on-campus residents
- UCSD dial-in service
- Virus and spyware detection and removal
- Computer repairs and upgrades

Choose one of the following Academic Computing & Media Services (ACMS) resources:
- Read a Step1 Guide, also available at the ACS Help Desk on the first floor of AP&M (map).
- Find a Zebra, a student computing lab assistant, wearing a black and white striped shirt.
