Many campus offices and libraries have different office hours during Summer Session. Some services offered during the regular school year may be reduced or unavailable.
Check these campus resources for summer changes:
- Dining Services: Dining facilities are limited during the summer. Check the dining services website for current hours and information.
- Housing Services: Housing-Dining-Hospitality offers on-campus summer housing options to students enrolled in Summer Session. Visit the HDH website for details.
- UC San Diego Library: For summer hours, see the Library website.
- UC San Diego Recreation: Visit the UC San Diego Recreation website to find summer programs and summertime hours for RIMAC, Canyonview, Main Gym, and other sports facilities.
- Shuttle services: Campus shuttle routes may be discontinued or altered during the summer. Read more about shuttles, and check the latest Transportation news and notices to learn about construction projects and changes to shuttle and bus routes / stops / schedules.
- Student Health Services: If you're a graduate or undergraduate student who purchased a Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) during the previous spring quarter, you have access to most services all summer for no additional fee. If you waived the SHIP fee in spring quarter, you still have access to all health services, but would pay fee-for-service charges. All charges are billed to student accounts. Hours are changed during the summer; see the SHS website for the most current info and policies.
