TritonLink Design Upgrade

For the past year, the TritonLink team has been meeting, discussing, programming, and testing, and our new website design is finally here.

Why the change?

The TritonLink website was last updated in 2015! An upgrade allows TritonLink to employ optimized design elements and page layouts used by ucsd.edu and other current campus websites. The new version of the website will also better align with the university's branding guidelines.

What's different?

  • New homepage with a clear, simplified design — keeping important student deadlines and tools readily available, while providing expanded links to student events and opportunities
  • New top navigation bar with easy access to individual student tools and a more consistent transition between TritonLink and MyTritonLink
  • System status at-a-glance
  • Brand-new home pages for main content areas, streamlining lists of links so students can more easily find critical content and office contacts
  • Ability to use new page templates and design elements offered by the campus CMS, Version 5 (V5)

What's staying the same?

  • MyTritonLink: Student business tools and forms behind SSO login
  • Quick links to oft-used student tools from every page on the website
  • Site organization and page URLs
  • Improved search capabilities (installed in summer 2020)
