Classes & enrollment tools

  • WebReg: Plan your schedule, then register for classes and add, drop, and change them.
  • Schedule of Classes: See class times, sizes, available seats, prerequisites, course evaluations and faculty listing.
  • Enrollment Authorization System (Easy): Request enrollment authorization for classes.
  • Holds: Find out if and why you have a hold, and how to get it removed.
  • TritonEd/Canvas: Some faculty use this tool to assign homework or post specific notices to the class. Use this link to log in and see your list of classes during the transition from TritonEd to Canvas; your courses may appear in either platform through 2020.

Personal & career tools

  • Addresses: Keep your contact information up to date, or make some of it private.
  • Handshake (formerly known as Port Triton): Student and alumni portal to jobs and internships.
  • Social Identities: Set your preferred name and your preferred personal pronouns in university records and systems.
  • Triton Alert Emergency Notifications: Sign up for emergency notices via phone and e-mail. Be sure your profile is up to date!
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Questionnaire: For new students, prior to enrolling. Sign into your Single Sign-On and answer the screening questions, then take further actions if needed.
  • We Are Tritons: For new students, this program introduces you to the Triton community and to your role in maintaining a welcoming campus environment.

  • CAPE Course & Professor Evaluations: Undergrad courses and professors receive ratings based on student feedback. Evaluation periods open at the end of each quarter.
  • Mobile apps: Access the latest UC San Diego information wherever you are (Android + iPhone).
