Find tuition and fees for the 2023–2024 academic year for UC San Diego's Self-Supporting Degree Programs. All fees are subject to change.

Some or all instruction for all or part of Academic Year 2023–2024 may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition represent currently approved amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amount presented.

Full payment of all fees are required to complete registration.

Other Fees:

  • UCGPC Systemwide Fee: ($7.00 annually, effective Fall 2023) fee assessed $3.00 Fall quarter, $2.00 Winter quarter, $2.00 Spring quarter
  • International Student Visa Administration Fee: All first-time enrolled international first-year, transfer and graduate students will be assessed a one-time visa administration fee of $100.00 during their admitted term, effective Fall 2018.
  • Health Insurance: Health insurance is required as a condition of enrollment. Students are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) however, students already covered by an insurance plan may qualify for a health fee waiver. Please see the Student Health Insurance Plan page for more information, including waiver criteria, submission process and deadline.

  • CAPS/Student Mental Health Fee: Per quarter fee, effective Fall 2020.
