Mandatory Enrollment Verification
Once you've applied and been approved to receive your educational benefits from the VA and you've booked your classes for any particular quarter you must then request certification of your courses. Please do not request certification before you have sent your benefit eligibility documentation to vao@ucsd.edu.
Please complete the following steps to request certification of your VA benefits once your course booking is complete.
Please note that this process is only required for Federal education benefits (Chapters 33, 35, 31, and 1606) - you do not need to complete this process to use the CalVet College Fee waiver.
Please fully read and understand the UC San Diego VA Notification of Requirements (PDF).
The above-mentioned process is a temporary solution while UCSD's normal "VA Enrollment Verification eForm (VA-eForm)" is reconfigured to work with the new Triton Student System (TSS). The VA-eForm system is expected to be restored during the Fall 2026 quarter.
