These instructions are intended for individuals who have received notification from the UCSD Registrar's Office of a data discrepancy concerning your enrollment reported to the National Student Clearinghouse.

If you have received notification from the UCSD Registrar's Office of a data discrepancy concerning your enrollment reported to the National Student Clearinghouse, we require that you verify your social security number.

To verify your social security number, provide the Registrar's Office with documentation

Please supply the Registrar's Office with both:

  • a copy of your signed social security card
  • an official photo ID

Because of the sensitive nature of the data and to provide you with the fullest protection of your identity, please bring these documents in-person during business hours to the Registrar’s Office on the second floor of the Student Services Center on the UCSD campus as soon as possible.
