  • The Writing Hub offers free one-on-one consultations, workshops, writing retreats, writers' rooms, and other writing-focused academic support services to all UC San Diego undergraduate and graduate students, including students who have English as an additional language. Drop into the Geisel Library location for help, or visit WCOnline to make an appointment with one of our writing consultants.
  • English Language Institute (UC San Diego Extension) teaches English to students from beginning to advanced levels. Tuition is charged for these courses.
  • American English in Action is a free program designed for international students and spouses that provides tutoring in conversational English.
